Q. Will you place ads on my site?
A. We will NOT place ads of any kind on your site.

Q. Do you allow sites to advertise for money, on their web site?
A. Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept all of the PayPal payment options. Personal/Business checks are also accepted by mail but will slow your setup considerably. 

Q. Are your server's Unix, or NT?
A. Our servers are Linux Red Hat 7.3. and Red Hat 9.0

Q. Do you allow adult sites?
A. No.

Q. Is tax included with my monthly or yearly plan?
A. Yes, tax is included within the price.

Q. What control panel do you use and do you have a demo?
A. Managed Hosting clients are provided with a very simple customized control page which has features added as needed. See a demo of the Knightville control page here.

Q. Can I pay monthly?
A. Yes, you may pay monthly

Q. Can I host friends?
A. You may host your friends only under "subdomains", i.e. yourfriend.yoursite.com. (without www)

Q. How long does it take to setup my account?
A. Your account will be setup automatically within 24 hour of ordering. Propagation of your domain may take up to 48 hours or more.

Q. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
A. No

Q. Do you offer telnet or shell access?
A. No due to security reason's we do not offer telnet or shell access. You are still able to unzip files on the server using our file manager as well as the ability to setup cron jobs.

Q. Can I have password protected directories?
A. Yes

Q. How long does it take to get my domain working?
A. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate.

Q. What do I set my domains name server's to?
A. Please read your welcome e-mail if you have lost your welcome email you can email us requesting your dns or we can make the change for you. (We'll need your registrar password)

E-mail

Q. How will I send/recieve my web mail?
A. Your account is initially set up with "Neomail", a web based program similar to Hotmail or Yahoo mail, with which you can send & receive email and attachments from any web browser. But you have many options. We offer other web based email programs. You may prefer to use Microsoft's Outlook or Outlook Express. Or you may want all of your web mail "forwarded" to an existing email you currently use. These options are set up free at your request.

Billing

Q. How do I get the 30 day money back?
A. Simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to cancel within thirty days, and we process your refund within 24 hours.

Q. How do I make a payment?
A. All online payments are recurring. Your payment will automatically be deducted.

Q. How do I stop billing?
A. If you wish to close your account simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to cancel. You must also include "I give you permission to delete my website and all of it's content."

Q. How does the 99.9% uptime guarantee work?
A. If for more than 30 minutes in one month: the server your site is on malfunctions or powers down, and/or if the server's connection to it's carriers is interrupted, we will credit your account for 1 hours worth of hosting per 30 minutes down time. No other circumstances will be considered as down time.

Q. How does the Free domain registration work?
A. We'll register and pay for your new domain name for one full year. You will own the name and renewing in following years will by your responsibility. If you prefer you can register the name yourself and we'll take up to $10 off your first month or year of hosting. Just Send us a copy of your email receipt.

Q. What is a subdomain?
A. www.domain.com is a domain name. A subdomain is anything that replaces the www in a domain... forum.aol.com is a subdomain. www.forum.aol.com is not a subdomain.
